What it is
Fees Amazon earns when independent sellers use its marketplace, including referral fees, fulfillment (FBA) and shipping services. Fees are charged as a share of sales plus fulfillment costs.
Why it matters to the stock. Seller services is a high-margin fee stream that grows with marketplace volume and shows how seller economics are changing. The FTC monopolization trial over the marketplace is scheduled for 2027.
