JPMorganChase investor relations press release · Sep 15
JPMorgan Chase is the largest US bank by assets, a financial holding company incorporated in Delaware in 1968. It runs four reportable segments: Consumer & Community Banking, Commercial & Investment Bank (Markets, Banking and Payments, and Investment Banking), Asset & Wealth Management, and Corporate. In FY2025 it reported $182.4 billion of net revenue and $57.0 billion of net income. Traders follow the stock through net interest income, trading and investment banking fees, card credit, and the capital return and regulatory capital rules that set how much it can buy back.
How it makes money
JPMorgan earns most of its revenue from net interest income on loans and deposits, plus fees from card products, payments, underwriting and advisory, trading, and asset and wealth management fees on about $4.8 trillion of client assets under management. The Commercial & Investment Bank and Consumer & Community Banking together produced about 83 percent of FY2025 managed revenue. Its results are sensitive to interest rates, trading volumes, deal activity and credit losses, and it returns capital through dividends and buybacks subject to Federal Reserve stress tests.
