What it is
MAX lets app developers run ads from several networks through one auction, which is how they monetize their apps. The 10-K lists MAX as one of the products in the advertising segment alongside AppLovin Ads, Adjust and Wurl.
Why it matters to the stock. MAX is where ad inventory is sold, so the number of apps and publishers using it sets how much supply advertisers can buy.
