Abu Dhabi theme park and resort
Announced with Miral in May 2025. Disney has not set an opening date.
What it is
A Disney theme park and resort on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. Miral will fully develop, build and operate it, while Disney Imagineers lead creative design and operational oversight. It is Disney's seventh theme park resort.
Why it matters to the stock. It extends Disney's park business into the Middle East, with Miral carrying much of the build-out work. Traders track it for the timing of any revenue, which is not expected soon.
