Retatrutide hits 25% weight loss at 80 weeks in TRIUMPH-1 Phase 3

Lilly reported topline results from TRIUMPH-1, a Phase 3 obesity trial of retatrutide, a triple GIP, GLP-1 and glucagon receptor agonist. At 80 weeks the 12 mg dose produced average weight loss of 25.0%, compared with 3.9% on placebo, with 9 mg and 4 mg doses also showing clear weight loss. The result strengthens Lilly's next-generation obesity pipeline ahead of its planned filing.
