IMDELLTRA plus Imfinzi improves overall survival in first-line small cell lung cancer
Amgen said on September 8, 2026 that the Phase 3 DeLLphi-305 trial met its primary endpoint at a pre-specified interim analysis. IMDELLTRA plus Imfinzi (durvalumab) improved overall survival versus durvalumab alone as first-line maintenance in extensive-stage small cell lung cancer, and progression-free survival and objective response rate also improved. The release gave no hazard ratios or survival figures and no date for regulatory filing or medical presentation, so the size of the benefit is not yet known.
- 563 patients randomized 1:1 to IMDELLTRA plus durvalumab or durvalumab alone
- Overall survival is the primary endpoint, met at a pre-specified interim analysis
- Progression-free survival and objective response rate also significantly improved
- No hazard ratios or median survival figures disclosed
- Safety in line with the known profiles of both drugs
