Kazakhstan's Energy Ministry sets a 40 Mt 2026 output target for Tengizchevroil
Kazakhstan's Energy Ministry said Tengizchevroil plans to produce up to 40 million tonnes of oil in 2026, about 2.6% more than in 2025. The plan was published the day before a late-July halt in Caspian Pipeline Consortium loadings cut Kazakh output. Chevron owns 50% of TCO, so the field's volumes count toward its international production.
- Target: up to 40 million tonnes in 2026
- About 2.6% above 2025, according to the ministry
- Chevron holds 50% of Tengizchevroil
