Nvidia invests $2 billion in CoreWeave at $87.20 a share

Nvidia bought $2 billion of CoreWeave Class A common stock at $87.20 per share in a private placement. The two companies also widened their partnership, with Nvidia helping CoreWeave secure land, power and shell capacity for AI factories. The stated goal is more than 5 gigawatts of AI factories by 2030, a target that needs very large capital spending.
