Retatrutide TRIUMPH-2 detail: 20.8% weight loss at 12 mg, published in The Lancet

Lilly presented detailed TRIUMPH-2 results for retatrutide at the EASD meeting in Milan on September 29, 2026, with a simultaneous Lancet publication. At 80 weeks, mean weight loss was 12.7% at 4 mg, 19.1% at 9 mg and 20.8% at 12 mg, against 4.0% with placebo. The full package now supports a BLA filing planned for the first quarter of 2027.
