Intuitive completes purchase of da Vinci and Ion distributors in Italy, Spain and Portugal

Intuitive completed its acquisition of the da Vinci and Ion distribution business run by ab medica, Abex and Excelencia Robótica. The territory covers Italy, Spain, Portugal, Malta and San Marino, and Intuitive now operates there directly. No purchase price was disclosed, and about 250 employees are joining the company.
