Wegovy pill goes on sale in Germany, the first EU market

Novo launched the Wegovy pill in Germany from 1 September 2026, making Germany the first EU country to sell the tablet. Pharmacy prices are expected to be comparable to the Wegovy pen, which retails at about EUR 170 to 280. The launch starts the European rollout that Novo flagged on its Q2 call for the coming quarters.
