OCTANE real-world data: switchers to the Wegovy pill lose 4.1% in three months
Real-world OCTANE data on the Wegovy pill, presented at EASD 2026 on 30 September, showed adults who switched from injectable tirzepatide or semaglutide to the pill lost an average of 4.1% of body weight after three months on treatment. The retrospective study used de-identified data from the Ro telehealth platform for people who switched in early 2026. It is an observational analysis, not a randomised trial, and the first output of a Ro and Novo collaboration.

- Switches from injectable tirzepatide or semaglutide between 5 January and 7 February 2026
