ServiceNow Action Fabric opens platform to any AI agent through MCP server

At Knowledge 2026 ServiceNow launched Action Fabric, which lets AI agents built on or outside its platform run governed enterprise actions through a Model Context Protocol server. The MCP server is generally available now and included in every Now Assist and AI-native SKU, and Anthropic is the first design partner. The launch positions the workflow platform as a control layer for third-party agents, not only its own.
