Baidu's driverless Apollo Go robotaxis go live on the Uber app in Dubai

From August 20, riders in parts of Dubai can book Baidu's fully driverless Apollo Go vehicles through the Uber app. Service is limited to select areas of Umm Suqeim and Jumeirah and is run by fleet operator New Horizon Luxury Transport. Uber calls Dubai a launchpad for scaling Apollo Go across its network, but it gave no launch fleet size or expansion timetable.
