IRS proposes transfer-pricing adjustments to UnitedHealth for 2017 to 2020

UnitedHealth disclosed that on March 6, 2026 the IRS proposed adjustments to its transfer pricing for tax years 2017 through 2020. The company said it disagrees with the proposed changes and will contest them. Any final tax assessment would be a cash and earnings risk that is not yet quantified in the company's guidance.
