Walmart names new heads for U.S., International and Sam's Club ahead of CEO change

Walmart announced a reshuffle of its senior leadership effective February 1, 2026, the same day John Furner takes over as chief executive. David Guggina moves up to lead Walmart U.S., Chris Nicholas to Walmart International and Latriece Watkins to Sam's Club U.S. The moves put the U.S. business under the executive who ran its e-commerce unit.

• David Guggina becomes President and CEO, Walmart U.S.
• Chris Nicholas becomes President and CEO, Walmart International, succeeding Kath McLay
• Latriece Watkins becomes President and CEO, Sam's Club U.S.
• Seth Dallaire becomes EVP and Chief Growth Officer, Walmart Inc.
• All changes take effect February 1, 2026
