GameStop physically settles its eBay put/call pairs, owning 43.4 million shares or 9.8%

GameStop elected on July 15, 2026 to physically settle all 39,046,658 shares underlying its eBay put/call pairs, and the settlement closed on July 17. After settlement it beneficially owned 43,390,383 eBay shares, about 9.8% of eBay's outstanding stock, according to the Schedule 13D amendment signed July 17. The settlement turned the derivative exposure into direct ownership of the shares.
