US trade commission opens a second patent investigation into SK hynix memory products

The U.S. International Trade Commission instituted a second investigation on June 10, 2026, into SK hynix and Kioxia. It follows a May 11, 2026 complaint by MonolithIC 3D that covers DRAM and NAND flash products and five more patents. The ITC has not yet set a target completion date for this case.
