Coinbase launched Coinbase for Agents on June 11, 2026. The product lets AI agents trade crypto, make payments and manage portfolios within limits the user sets, either in the main account or an isolated sandbox. It connects through a Model Context Protocol integration or a command-line interface. Stocks and prediction markets were listed as planned later, and finer spending controls were described as coming soon.
