Microsoft merges consumer and commercial Copilot engineering under Jacob Andreou

On March 17, 2026 Microsoft combined its consumer and commercial Copilot efforts under Jacob Andreou, an EVP who reports directly to Satya Nadella and leads design, product, growth and engineering across both. Mustafa Suleyman shifts to focus on superintelligence and frontier models. Microsoft said the goal is to move from a collection of products to one integrated system. For traders it is a reorganization of the Copilot franchise, which the stock's AI revenue story depends on.
