Copilot Cowork, built with Anthropic, opens to Microsoft 365 Frontier program

On March 30, 2026 Microsoft made Copilot Cowork available through its Frontier early-access program. Microsoft says it brings the technology platform behind Claude Cowork into Microsoft 365 Copilot for long-running, multi-step work across files and tools. The product was built in close collaboration with Anthropic, and Microsoft says Copilot also draws on OpenAI models. It is another sign Microsoft is sourcing frontier models from more than one lab.
