NVIDIA launches Nemotron Coalition of open frontier AI labs

NVIDIA formed the Nemotron Coalition, an open-model group whose inaugural members include Mistral AI, Perplexity, LangChain, Cursor and Thinking Machines Lab. Its first project is a base model co-developed with Mistral AI and trained on NVIDIA DGX Cloud, to underpin the upcoming Nemotron 4 family. The release gave no timeline or financial terms.
