Xtera epitaxy system (gate-all-around)

An epitaxy system that deposits void-free, uniform layers for gate-all-around (GAA) transistors at 2nm and smaller, using a continuous deposition-etch cycle. Applied says it cuts gas use by half.

Why it matters to the stock. Epitaxy for GAA transistors is a leading-edge logic tool, so orders for it depend on chipmakers' 2nm and smaller node plans.
