Prolec GE transformers
Fully owned and consolidated in Electrification since the February 2026 closing.
What it is
Power transformers and transformer components made at seven plants in the Americas, five of them in the US. GE Vernova had owned half of the business through a joint venture with Xignux, and it bought the other half in 2026.
Why it matters to the stock. Transformers are one of the tightest supply bottlenecks in grid and data-center buildouts, so owning this capacity supports Electrification growth.
