What it is

A hardware-based self-healing block storage system built on the Exos 4U106 platform, which Seagate launched in June 2021 and says offers 99.999% ('five nines') availability.

Why it matters to the stock. Storage systems carry higher prices than bare drives, so they help Seagate sell more of each customer's data center storage budget.
