Cybercab
Production started per Tesla's Q2 2026 letter. The letter no longer targets volume production in 2026, and no new date was given.
What it is
A two-seat robotaxi with no steering wheel or pedals, built at Giga Texas. It can only drive itself, so it depends on the robotaxi software.
Why it matters to the stock. Cybercab is the vehicle that would make the robotaxi business cost-competitive, since it has no driver controls to build. Delay here delays the robotaxi revenue case.
