Walmart's generative AI shopping assistant, Sparky, inside its app. In October 2025 Walmart and OpenAI said shoppers could buy Walmart items inside ChatGPT.

Why it matters to the stock. AI agents could move product discovery off Amazon and Google search, and Walmart is trying to become a default checkout inside them. Whether those channels bring profitable orders is still unproven.
