Arista adds AI-driven zero-trust edge security to VeloCloud SD-WAN

Arista launched AI-driven Edge Threat Management for its VeloCloud SD-WAN, a software option that brings firewalling, segmentation and threat prevention to branch offices. It is managed from the VeloCloud Orchestrator and uses Arista's AVA assistant to explain policies in plain language. The option is due to be generally available in Q4 2026 on current VeloCloud hardware and virtual edge platforms.
