Costco March sales rise 11.3% to $28.41 billion; Easter shift trims comps

Costco's March 2026 retail month, covering five weeks to April 5, produced net sales of $28.41 billion, up 11.3%. Total comparable sales rose 9.4%, or 6.2% excluding gasoline and currency, and digitally enabled comparable sales grew 23.3%. The company said one fewer shopping day because of the later Easter reduced total and comparable sales by about 1.5%.
