CrowdStrike unveils SafeMind security AI models built with NVIDIA
CrowdStrike launched SafeMind, a family of AI models and agent harnesses built on NVIDIA's open Nemotron models and produced by its new Cyber Superintelligence Lab. The offensive model, Red Tempest, emulates AI-driven attackers, and the defensive model, Blue Solano, applies containment steps used on live incidents. CrowdStrike says the models beat frontier baselines on detection and remediation, but the release did not name the comparison models.
- Two models: Red Tempest (offensive) and Blue Solano (defensive)
- Built on NVIDIA Nemotron; CoreWeave supplies training and inference cloud
- Company claims 29% higher detection rate, 6x faster remediation, 99% lower cost (unverified)
- Ships natively in the Falcon platform; standalone access through Project QuiltWorks
