Sesha Varadarajan to become COO as Pat Lord retires; Rammohan gets wider operations role

Lam said Sesha Varadarajan becomes Chief Operating Officer effective March 6, 2026, succeeding Pat Lord, who is retiring after more than two decades with Lam and Novellus. Varadarajan keeps oversight of the global product portfolio and adds the customer support business group, corporate strategy and government affairs. Karthik Rammohan takes an expanded role as Senior Vice President, Global Operations and Enterprise Solutions.
