Merck Animal Health makes EXZOLT available to backyard chicken flocks

Merck Animal Health said EXZOLT (fluralaner oral solution), previously used in commercial poultry production, is now available by prescription for backyard flocks. It treats and controls northern fowl mites in laying hens and replacement chickens with two doses given in drinking water seven days apart. The company cites 99.9% effectiveness in its studies.
