Rocket Lab completes acquisition of Mynaric laser communications maker

Rocket Lab completed its acquisition of Mynaric AG, the Munich maker of laser optical communication terminals, on April 14, 2026. The consideration was a nominal cash payment plus 2,277,002 Rocket Lab shares, about $155.3 million in total value. Mynaric already supplied CONDOR Mk3 terminals for Rocket Lab's Space Development Agency satellites, so the deal brings that component in-house.

• Purchase consideration recorded at $160.8M, with $60.0M of goodwill
