Salesforce agrees to acquire Contentful to add a content layer to Headless 360

Salesforce announced on June 1, 2026 a definitive agreement to acquire Contentful, a composable content platform that stores and delivers web and app content through APIs. Salesforce says the deal adds a native content layer to its Headless 360 platform and to Agentforce. Financial terms were not disclosed in the announcement.
