Synopsys launches Electronics Digital Twin platform for automotive software

Synopsys launched its open Electronics Digital Twin (eDT) Platform, starting with automotive use cases, so carmakers can validate software before hardware is available. The platform runs as SaaS or bring-your-own-cloud on AWS, with Volvo Cars, Arm, AWS and Vector named as launch partners. Synopsys claims up to 90% of software validation can be done before hardware exists.
