Synopsys adds Elliott's Jesse Cohn to board under cooperation agreement

Synopsys reached a cooperation agreement with Elliott Investment Management and appointed Elliott managing partner Jesse Cohn as an independent director, effective June 1, 2026. The board grows to 11 members, and Cohn joins the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee. The agreement includes customary standstill, voting and confidentiality commitments.
