Oklo's Groves test reactor in Texas achieves first criticality

Oklo's Groves Isotope Test Reactor achieved criticality under the DOE Reactor Pilot Program, less than a year after groundbreaking. It is a low-power test reactor at a greenfield site in Lockhart, Texas, and the DOE describes it as the fifth advanced reactor to reach criticality under this effort. Oklo calls it the operational base for future commercial isotope production, but it did not give a power rating in its release.
