What it is
Oklo's radioisotope business began with the February 2025 acquisition of Atomic Alchemy. It runs the 15 MWt Groves test reactor in Texas as a platform for future production-scale isotope reactors, and in January 2026 it signed a DOE agreement for a radioisotope pilot facility.
Why it matters to the stock. Isotopes are the nearest-term route to a reactor generating cash, since Groves is operating before the Aurora powerhouse. Oklo has not disclosed a commercial isotope revenue timeline.
