Sandisk starts sampling BiCS10 1Tb TLC 3D NAND with 59% higher bit density than BiCS8
On July 2, 2026 Sandisk said it had begun sampling BiCS10, its 10th-generation 3D NAND, in a 1-terabit triple-level-cell die. The company says the new generation improves bit density by 59% over BiCS8. Higher bit density lowers the cost per bit for a given wafer, which matters for margins as much as for supply.
- Product: BiCS10 1Tb TLC 3D NAND, now sampling
- Bit density up 59% versus BiCS8
