Apple says recycled content hit a record 30% across products shipped in 2025

Apple said on April 16, 2026 that recycled content was 30% of the material in all products it shipped in 2025, its highest share so far. The MacBook Neo is 60% recycled by content, the most of any product. Apple-designed batteries use 100% recycled cobalt and magnets use 100% recycled rare earths. The release gives no prior-year figure for comparison.
