What it is
Signal conditioning for optical links, including smart cable modules for near-package optics and linear pluggable optics. Aries 7 covers copper and optical links from centimeters of board trace to over 50 meters of optical cable across multiple racks.
Why it matters to the stock. Optical interconnects are replacing more copper links in AI data centers. Astera's entry is a bet that its signal conditioning chips will be needed alongside optical modules from partners such as Lumentum.
