What it is
Inspection systems for printed circuit boards and electronic components. This is a separate, smaller business from wafer inspection, reported as its own segment.
Why it matters to the stock. This is KLA's exposure to electronics and substrate build-outs beyond the wafer fab. A sharp quarter-on-quarter jump, as in Q4, can come from lumpy orders.

KLA's PCB and component inspection segment booked $241.1 million of revenue in the June 2026 quarter, up from $154.1 million a year earlier and $167.6 million in the March quarter.
