Synopsys shows NVIDIA GPU work with Applied Materials, Honda and Astera Labs at GTC

At NVIDIA GTC 2026, Synopsys showcased GPU-accelerated engineering software built with NVIDIA, citing customer results. Applied Materials reported up to 30x faster quantum chemistry simulations with QuantumATK, Honda reported 34x faster CFD runs in Ansys Fluent, and Astera Labs saw a 3.5x speedup on PrimeSim. The figures are early customer results reported by Synopsys.
